„Es ist eine NGO von mir und Thomas Koch aufgebaut, mit den Richtlinien von anamed international, wozu wir gehören.“ Aus diesem einfachen Satz von Ursula Pfründer spricht alles, was Hand in Hand ausmacht: Menschen, die anpacken, statt zu verwalten.“It’s an NGO built by me and Thomas Koch, following the guidelines of anamed international, which we belong to.” That simple sentence from Ursula Pfründer says everything about what Hand in Hand is: people who roll up their sleeves instead of administrating.
Gemeinsam tragen die beiden die Idee „Aktion natürliche Medizin in den Tropen“ nach Mwanza – mit Heilpflanzen, die vor Ort wachsen, und einem Haus in Mwanza, das dem Projekt ein festes Zuhause geben soll.Together the two carry the idea of “natural medicine in the tropics” to Mwanza – with medicinal plants that grow locally, and a house in Mwanza, meant to give the project a permanent home.

Sie stellt sie selbst her – aus dem, was vor Ort wächst, und mit einer fachlichen Ausbildung, die in Tansania mit einem Doktortitel für Arzneimittel abgeschlossen wurde.In Mwanza, Flora Luferano stands behind what everything at Hand in Hand revolves around: the preparations made from medicinal plants. She makes them herself – from what grows locally, and with professional training she completed in Tanzania with a doctorate in pharmaceuticals.

anamed international („Aktion natürliche Medizin in den Tropen“) begleitet seit 1994 Menschen dabei, sich mit lokalen Heilpflanzen selbst zu helfen – allen voran mit Artemisia annua gegen Malaria. Als Teil dieser Bewegung baut Hand in Hand auf erprobtem Wissen auf und trägt es nach Mwanza weiter.anamed international (“Action for natural medicine in the tropics”) has been guiding people since 1994 to help themselves with local medicinal plants – above all with Artemisia annua against malaria. As part of this movement, Hand in Hand builds on proven knowledge and carries it onward to Mwanza.
